Well trained and motivated co-workers who are familiar with the political, social and economic conditions work with much dedication in the poor neighbourhoods under our care. When recruiting co-workers we can always count on young people who grew up in a poor neighbourhood themselves and were supported by our institution. They are familiar with the situation of the children and adolescents based on their own experience and thus serve as a role model.

Our team has been supported by “Voluntarias” for many years. These are voluntary helpers who have acquired experience and social competence as professional women or heads of families and feel the need to apply their experience in a meaningful way. They assume clearly defined tasks within our different social programs and provide valuable services. Although the service they provide is free of charge they commit to a regular schedule, further training and cooperation with our organization.

The focal point of all the team’s efforts is always the welfare of the children and adolescents. By creating an atmosphere of trust and respect it establishes an environment in which young people receive attention and support, where they can develop in a healthy way according to their respective potential.
